The Michigan Infield
I received an email from Dan Hoyt who has a website, the Michigan Infield. This is a cool site for photos & amusing stories from the MIS infield. Anyway when I emailed him back after visiting his site; I commented that I knew those Bubbas in the photos. He emailed me a Bubba story back. Following is the short antidote:
(Just a quick bubba story for ya' before I go)
You won't believe this one. We camp @ MIS every year,
and there is this MAJOR Bubba across the road from us
who we've partied with for at least 3 years, BIG ROB.
Anyways, my wife and I are sitting in the stands for
qualifying at MARTINSVILLE, (some 15 hours away from
MIS) and who comes walking up the ramp? BIG ROB! So
we toast some beers and watch the quals, but I still
can't believe it.
