Vehicles exiting the raceway will be directed to the quickest and least crowded exiting gate and highway. That may mean that you will be directed to exit through a gate and onto a highway different from the one you entered.

Best Way Home - Alternate Routes

Within about 15 miles from the track in nearby Vallejo, CA is Six Flags Marine World.  With a wildlife park, oceanarium and theme park, there is something for everyone.  You can scream as you ride Medusa an extreme roller coaster.  Or you can fed giraffes, seals or sea lions.  Or how about riding an elephant?

How about a visit to Sonoma State Historic park?  Sonoma State Historic Park is in the center of the charming old town of Sonoma, surrounded by shops, and nearby wineries.  This historic park includes a variety of beautifully restored historic properties, such as the Sonoma Mission, Blue Wing Inn, La Casa Grande Site, The Plaza, General Vallejo's Home, Toscano Hotel, and the Sonoma Barracks.  We are in the middle of wine country so go visit a winery  I found over 17 in Sonoma alone.  One word of caution; if visiting a winery in Sonoma you are less likely to be charged for taste testing than if you visit one in Napa Valley.

Into trains?  Sonoma’s Train Town includes three full sized cabooses, dating from the 1930's and 40's which you will be able to explore at your leisure.  Board a train and travel over five bridges and trestles and thru two tunnels.  You will arrive at lakeview and a petting zoo.
